Harriet Sussman

Growing up, Harriet Sussman could always be found either playing outside or making art. Over time, her two favorite pastimes naturally converged, producing a budding passion for creating illustrations and patterns that capture her love of nature. In 2016, Harriet graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. While she is classically trained in a variety of media, she prefers painting with watercolor and gouache. She loves the freedom and fluidity of watercolor, as well as the crisp, controlling flatness of gouache. Harriet currently resides in Boston, close to her family and friends.
