Meural Exclusive: Enter the Machine

“Imagine you could shrink yourself down, swim around your hard drive, and meet your files face to face—what would they look like?” Artist Eric Corriel’s ‘Enter The Machine’ project aims to provide a new way of seeing our digital files, one that does justice to their uniqueness, the diversity of the data they contain, and the complexity by which they are structured. Corriel has developed an algorithm that translates his files into color-coded pixels, and in an exclusive series for Meural, he has applied his algorithm to some of the most renowned paintings in the Meural Collection.
